  1. Kalishnakov wasn’t a ballistic expert and didn’t design the 7.62×39 round. He just built the platform. Energy applies to penetration only in certain circumstances. A 5.56 and 5.45 will out penetrate the 7.62×39 (and even 7.62 NATO) against steel and monolithic ceramics (plate armors). But the 7.62×39 out penetrates vs wood and mixed solids like cinder blocks. If it stops an SS109 then it will stop all 7.62×39 easily.

i made my one design, more stretchable, more flexible, more light weight and most of all super strength. cant be penetrated by armored piercing bullets..

  3. i agree with you its a “47” after all… that thing that comes out of the muzzle makes it one.

but the makers of this show did everything to confuse guys like me who are then just like “muzzlebreak on a 47 WTH?”. 😀

  4. i cant tell if you’re agreeing with me or not but it doesn’t matter i trust gunny. if he says it’s an ak47 it’s an ak47 =)

  5. umm dont want to be a smartass but then its still no 47, but a hundred-something or whatever the more modern ones in various calibers are called… (or even just some unnamed civilian bastard).

but yeah youre right on the mag. recoil also seems sound and correct…

  6. it was the 47 you can tell by the mag the 74 is straighter

  7. My thoughts exact. 5,45 is lighter and doesn’t carry kinetic energy as well. Much like the 5.56 nat. And it’s not a coincidence it was developed right after the vietnam confict. Shorter traveltime to target is nice, but I must agree with Mr.Kalashnikov in saying that it is an inferior round when it comes to heavy hitting and getting people out of the fight.

  10. Right by doghouse grill here

  11. lol Yea Fresno is a shit city. I live here.

  12. Born and raised in the area.. I know exactly where they are at.. This place sucks.

  13. But can it stop the 7.62 x 54 ? True most ot the time when a NATO member is being shot at, its by the ak 47, but the second most common warsaw pact munition is the 54. Warsaw pact is gone but the guns are still out there.

  14. But it’s still manufactured in the wrong congresional district.
And if understand fascism, the statement will make sence.

  15. the interessing thing is, thats not an ak47 but a 74. at least if my eyes dont totally fool me.

i dont know which model penetrates body armor better, but it COULD make a difference, since the majority of the “bad guys” will be firing the 7,62 x39, not the more modern 5,45 x 39.

  16. 6:25 of all people, the gunny would be the last one I would expect to call a magazine a clip. But he’s the gunny, so its OK
